I just read Obama Ding Dong. The posts are sad because they have degraded to a point were they are not just jabs between people I love.

I don't think we should be sitting here attacking each other. There are forces in play that are much larger than any one of us realizes. It used to be when your truck broke down there were always a few extra bucks to fix it without breaking the bank. Not any more, why?

Why is our government shutting down drilling in west Texas, when our country needs the energy supply to help us recover and strengthen our economy. To pay back our debt to China that is the major holder of our "mortgage"

Why are we giving away 2 billion dollars to PETRO BRAZIL and slamming our own oil companies,BECAUSE AL GORE OWNS THE COMPANY AND NOW HE IS GETTING PAYED BACK!

What is it with every one, You are all giving up your freedoms and hard work, to be a submissive citizen. Freedoms taken away by the irresponsible minority, and the political leaders that only seek to capitalize on chaos and American fighting American.
This is why Haley is so frustrated. So frustrated that his America has changed so much, he is starting to feel like a trapped tiger.

God I pray for us all.

We've been carpooling and I'm down to one car anyway now. I told Cisco that I'm not getting another truck until I can buy it outright. I refuse to play the credit game anymore.

Also, as of next month, I'm riding the bus to work, plus my firm buys my bus pass. ;o) I can get in some much needed reading on my pile of books I just got.

And what really sucks is your freedom to choose was taken away by some one else. When all the innocent hidden taxes and fees you payed left you stranded on the highway of life.

That truck should have been PAID OFF and traded in for a new one[no repairs] but so much has been STOLEN from you Chaeya, over the course of your life,,,

After all your hard work ,raising a family, being a good person, you have to ride a bus to work, because so much has been taxed away from you.. I'd be as pissed as Haley. Oh well, In Chaeya fashion, you see the silver lining.

Thank God your not a dumb blonde like me, they make me sit in the back of the bus.

The irony is that the Chinese are now the number one consumer of autos in the world. They bought more AMerican made autos than WE DID. Maybe we should think of introducing the rickshaw in this country. Just think, if the rickshaw becomes popular in American cities then Chinese tourists will see the same type of transportation they once had in their country...

If we all took this one step away from economic slavery the whole thing would come unraveled at the seams and we could live as free men once again.
Not easy. We have been programed for generations that credit was good and we have lost all patience in the get it now pay latter scheme.

Been working on the pay-down now for my family, and meeting a lot of resistance.
Not only from my wife but from my own desires.

We shall see.

In my collection of motorcycles I have a KM 100. It gets over 60mpg and can still travel at highway speeds. I may go into the taxi service as soon as I design a rickshaw hitch for it.

We have a real rats nest controlling America. Can you even count the freedoms of choice and privacy that we have lost so far? This isn't even America anymore. They are giving away our sovereignty to world organizations.

we did it to our selves i mean i have a `70 dodge challenger that i have owned for a long time.this car is a reminder of when the usa was absolutely #1.now years later i buy a toyota truck because they last for ever.chevy or honda,of course honda because we want quality at a good price.a friend of mine wanted to buy a dw drumset because he tries to buy american but he bought tama because it was 1/2 the price and the quality was top notch.the same guy tried to buy a harley davidson but bought a honda because the harley was twice the price and the harleys are always breaking down.give us a damned break you want us to buy american but you wo`nt compete price wise.i remember in the 60`s if you bought something that was made in japan it was a total piece of crap.my how the tables have turned.the one thing that the japanese, chinese or anyone else in the world can`t copy is our music, yeah baby, always #1 always will be.

Toyota lasting forever is a myth. I have a '92 Toyota 4 runner that despite the fact it will start any day of the year, I have to work on the brakes twice a year and anything steel has rusted out of it. Including the frame. Americans that are old enough or those that can identify with the early model Ford Fairlanes will note that it still exists because it is essentially a rust proof car. not very good looking in my opinion but it was a car that could take a fender bender and decades later not be any the worse from it due to rust. Nowadays you don't want anyone leaning on your car because the paint will prematurely flake in huge ugly Gorbechauves. We had the technology to keep a car from disintegrating 4 decades ago but corporate greed has us buying a new car every 4 years to keep production lines moving not keeping the faithful going to work. :(

There you go again with corporate greed.
Maybe we should just let a few politicians tell you when to work, How to work, Why to work, If you should be allowed to work, and If you have any value to society. [live or die]. I can't believe some one as smart as you is buying into all this socialist, communist bulldink.

You can give up your freedom,,, NOT at my expense!

You are too funny. Let's see your birth certificate.

So what do you do MIKE?
