MAN ORGANIZES VERBAL TRASHING OF WOMAN AND HER MUSIC

Captain Scott, as he calls himself, who frequents a music forum titled "bandmix" located online at www.bandmix.com, tried to disquise his intentions of embarassing and cruely insulting a female singer by requesting group assistance on how to handle his soon to be seen uncalled for manerism.

Scott created a brand new thread just for this purpose. Posting such comments as ... "If someone's music makes you sick to your stomach, do you tell them? Scott was careful to offer himself as the so-called victom in this well organized attack by presenting his comments as being from someone who was in greatly needed advice.

Scott continues to post such comments as ... "Here's a little slap, "get a new mic", "get a new profession", "get a new life", "get a new anything but leave me totally and utterly alone" as I consider you lower than low and your "holier than thou" attitude makes me ill."

Now try to keep in mind "who" exactly is attacking "who" .... but yet ... it is "scott" requesting to be left alone.... adding in a later statement "I am saving a really harsh slap for the next time you utter so much as a burp in my general direction, you faux pas musician."

Being that this was now a group discussion.... as multiple members of the forum were quick to come to Scott's need for advice on how to handle the situation.... because of course he was confused he said as to whether he should tell her of his thoughts or not.... she was fast becoming the talk of the site.

I can't even come to imagine the embarassment and humiliation she felt by the cruelity of one man who went out of his way to single out a woman on a forum and encourage such unfoundly comments of insult for no other reason than.... he didn't like her singing.

As a result... she deleted her forum account and left. As for Scott... he is still at bandmix.com... explaining to people still how lucky they were for not hearing her music. Thats correct... he's not done trashing her yet. But according to Scott in one of his statements.... it is "her" who is lower than low.

So lets start an ENTIRE THREAD about this nonsense to occupy more bandwidth, time and energy, instead of talk about topics that may educate and help musicians.

GREAT PLAN THERE, MCARTHUR!

Well irminsul..... I reallllllllllly want to tell him off for how he treated her .... but .... i'm not sure to be honest .... of what I should do.

So here is the plan.

I am going to share this story with a bunch of people across the internet .... and ask their advice on whether I should say anything.

I'll ask....

If you really think that a man treated a woman in a very cruel and unfoundly manerism causing her to become embarassed and completely humiliated in front of a group of people....... should you tell him what you think of his comments?

LOL Here WE go..always at least one nutter around.

Now, I wish she was here.. (giggles)

I love it, I guess you got tired of trying to trash Irminsul and now you want a piece of me? Come with it, mini man!

Here I am, should I strike a pose? (here's my warface) (big FLEX)lol

And you think what I wrote was bad, I rewrote that 5x. You should have read 1-4. (cringe) lol

Gee, I felt bad. Now, I dunno. Figures we have no evidence since she terminated and deleted all her erm "recordings". Maybe you could write her and obtain a affidavit so you can present your side to the court.

(The evidence before the court is incontroversial and there is no need for the jury to retire.) lol (TEAR DOWN THE WALLS)

I find it typical that you go off on a tangent that is barely passable as news and certainly not new.

Did thou sh*t in thy cornflakes this eve or are thou under yet another dark spell that backfired upon your asseth..????lol Don't forget your amulet of protection +5 LMAO
Of all the things you have been in and out of, i thought you would have went back to your favorite MMORPG by now, mage.

"Thou smells of elderberry wine" and "Your mother sews socks that smell" lol

Yes .... Iriminsul and I had a few days of bickering.... so freakin what!!!

At the end of all that agrueing I can still say irminsul is a man of integrity... honour... and education. Him and I don't see eye to eye.... but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't introduce him as a good man. Irminsul can handle anything I dish out.... plus more .... and vice versa .... we both know that. Its a fair deal.

And if you would so interestingly notice .... both him and I chose a male to share our comments with during that arguement..... not a woman.

When it comes to you .... I won't waste my time argueing with you ... no ... because your a poor excuse for an Irminsul. You have no integrity... no honour .... and .... I would only make you cry. Your not as tough as you lead people to think you are. I'd find your weak spot sooner or later .... and use it against you.

Is it a child? A dead wife? Lost dog? There's something to bring every man to his knees .... even you. I'd find it ..... One insult at a time.... your mistake would be letting me learn where your life's pain is. A very big mistake indeed.

But as I said .... no.... i'm going to leave you alone ..... for I think you have enough to worry about ... such as the person you are. You have to live with yourself. Thats cruelity enough.

(see... I can say mean pathetic stuff too ... yay for me!!! and without swearing too.... wow)

Please try to be careful with your comments to people Scott .... some people ... like Melanie .... can be really hurt easy. And thats just not cool.

Argue with Irminsul .... he can handle it.

Irminsul ... I thought about your post (in this thread) .... your absolutely right ....

Talking about topics that may educate and help musicians is absolutely a better idea.

You're a biffy lil guy who keeps his pony tied up under your rear end at all times. lol

And let that be a lesson to you, MISERMAGE. You look down the barrel of truth and it makes a hole, whether you like it or not.

PS: Your lame cop out is as bad as the rest of your arguments/website/management theory.

My suggestion to you is go get a gallon of Ben and Jerry's and eat the whole thing and wash it down with a big glass of bite the pillow w/ tears on the rocks. lol

WEIRD. If somebody sane doesn't like something they are listening to they usually TURN IT OFF. I hear a lot of CRAP all the time (much of American Idol comes immediately to mind) and I TURN IT OFF. I don't sit around and get SICK TO MY STOMACH about it. Life's to short to let somebody's attempt at music bother me. I TURN IT OFF and go listen to something else. Getting all bent out of shape and trashing somebody's sincere attempt at music is WEIRD. There may be other people who happen to like their music. I thought the Sex Pistols were a horrible band. I DID NOT lsten to them because I COULD NOT STAND them. But God bless them they had many thousands of fans and made a hell of a lot more money in the music business than me. And I never got SICK TO MY STOMACH about it. Everybody needs to STOP these meaningless personal attacks against people you never even met. If you met these same people face-to-face you might even like them. I guess truly that commentary and dissent have now combined to form dysentery. Later...your bewildered friendly neighborhood bluesman fisherman bob (maybe even found the right lead guitarist)

Bob I hear what you're saying, and can respect that, but the jist of Cap'ns remarks seem to me to be a swipe at how phoney PC regurgitations instead of honest exchange of feelings is doing much more harm than good these days. There is a way to tell someone that you do not like their music, if they solicit your opinion, in an honest way without screaming "YOU SUCK ASS!" at them. I've experienced a large number of composers who treasure negative feedback as a learning experience they can grow from. If they are into growth and not merely looking to web forums as therapy for a terribly low self esteem.
