Third Saturday of July until the last band (or musician) is worn out. By the way Prevaler, checked your profile, we got a lot in common!

Right now, this is still in the idea stage. It is also beginning to go from Hush mode to spread the word. Interest and commitment are Key. There is both.
Something for you to chew on while dinner's cookin...I am going to encourage bands/ individuals to start making their sellable crafts. The idea I'm runnin' with is that proceeds from the show (after reasonable costs and repairs), will go to Japan relief. Your sellable crafts is your take. Aside from exposure. Oh yeah, bring a tent. Interested parties should express themselves if they want this to get to the next Phase.

That log is now cut into slabs for guitar bodies. That cherry has more flames than if I burned it. I got the pic art idea from Shifty Eyes.

Right now, guitar bodies are not in the sellable state yet. The wood is seasoned, but I'm waiting for the season to change. My workshops are not heated while I'm machining. It could be bad. Hope you got more than a router if your gonna take on a Challenge like this one. Precision through the full length of the guitar must be less than 1/32th of an inch. I'm really not comfortable selling raw slabs because the guitars I build will be 100% custom, custom ordered, but built and tested for playability before anyone pays a dime. Any guitar not up to great standards, I will keep. However, you can go to Carvin Guitars website and check out all the necks, electronics, tremolos and so on that will be incorporated. You Can order guitar bodies, kits, electronics through them. They have beautiful guitars. The difference is if you want a solid wood body made without veneer, the beauty you see on the front will be what you see on the back, through and through. Not made of a Mahogany filler. I challenge you to find a builder to make that statement. 8) [/u]

I have one thing to add. I heat my home with wood. I burn all that I'm not thoroughly impressed with. I just have ways of doing something with these choice pieces that would be a shame not to enjoy for generations to come. :D

Didn't mean to give you that impression. Sorry about that. You can see those guitars listed in my profile. What you don't see in my profiles is my failures and successes. I will say I have a Solid body Buffalo Head (ever seen one of those, Of course not). His horns are the double cutaway. More as I go, but I'm convinced these will sell. Hey, Ted Nugent- Need one for Great White Buffalo? :D
