Hi everyone ...... I would like your feedback concerning my business model..... in contrast to the BidzCenter Community.
I'll explain the BidzCenter Community ... and its purpose so that you may gain a better understanding of its opportunities.... and be able to perhaps offer a more accurate opinion.
The BidzCenter Community is to become an "Online Venue" for International Artists. Using the "Live GIG Streaming" (as mentioned on a couple threads) I hope to hire bands to GIG live at the BidzCenter Community. It is my opening assessment (after reviewing some basic equations) that a hired band would receive $1000/2 hour GIG (streamed live).... 3 bands per live streamed concert. This implies a BEP (Break Even Point) of 300 fans/$10 per ticket. (Not that difficult over the internet to acquire 300 fans).
This business model suggests 4 major sections needed for the Online Venue.
(Completed) Products Manager for Artists to offer Merchandise to fans (Auction Center)
(Completed) Advertising Manager for Artists to offer info to fans (Classifieds Center)
(Completed) Fan Fare Manager for Artists to interact with fans (Forum Center)
(Now working on) Live GIG Streams (Concert Center)
Areas of concern that I am also working on is ..... Band Startup Kits. Before a band can stream live ... they must have the proper equipment, software, etc. This implies a startup cost that many bands and artists can't afford. I can't offer details at this point ... but I am in the process of organizing a sponsorship program to allow financial aid for bands trying to meet startup costs.
(No Promises) I am trying to add magazine coverage as well..... but I am having trouble acquiring a fixed price on a printed music magazine that will deliver to at least Canada, United States, and the United Kingdom. I checked into sites such as www.lulu.com for publications.... but they want $20 per print .... and thats ridiculous lol. So i'm thinking "Print On Demand" is NOT the way to go.... lol. I really want the magazine coverage... but the damn thing is giving me alot of headaches.
Anyhow ..... How do you feel about an Online Venue looking to hire Bands to GIG live through streams?
