Yeah, they posted this on FB and my response was, I guess they got bored predicting the end of the world, now they're on the end of religion kick. Really? Why not put that government funding to good use and figure out something that could really help mankind. Dumbasses!

I don't think that "unaffiliated" means "non-religious" or "non-spiritual" or "atheist."

As we move deeper into this pseudo, loosely-knit community of the internet, many of the real gatherings in life are sacrificed...you know, like time for family, church & pubs & such. I know I have far deeper conversations on-line than I do in real time, because it's just easier to do. I never sit around & talk politics at the local bar. I'd prolly get my butt kicked for even mentioning many of the things I do, in here. LOL

That being said, it's going to be easier for ppl of like mind to hook up, here, than it ever was in a church setting. So the church becomes obsolete for many ppl, but it DOESN'T mean that they will leave behind their religious beliefs. It's only the venue that changes.

This prediction was made hundreds of years ago. It was supposed to happen by the late 1800's.
