We do know the consequences of our actions, we have the ability to think things through, but the problem is, people don't. All this talk about responsibility, but many people can't admit when they've made a bad choice. People seem to think that it only means people who work for a living.

Here's some responsibility for you: How many people have family members who aren't speaking to each other because that one asshole who doesn't want to sit down and discuss things calmly? Or their ego and pride gets in the way and they feel they don't have to admit they made the wrong choice.

How many people out there right now are using using their children to get back at their exes because they're angry and they don't care if their child is angry and hurting, but it's okay to talk smack about your ex wife or ex husband to that child and put them in the middle of your bullshit.

How many people choose to take a gun and end their life, end the life of their exes or innocent people because they refuse to admit that they're depressed or just plain refuse to take responsibility for their bad choices?

Now, to speak about the US. The problem is the US is too big. At least Europe had the good sense to keep with their own countries. You can't have 51 different states and try to make general laws to make everybody happy.

You can't have a system which protects the rich, but those same laws don't apply to the poor or middle class.

You can't have a system where right and wrong are decided by wealth, zip codes and finding a f**k up way to interpret a particular law. Where common sense goes out the window and right and wrong and breaking the law comes down to how good of a lawyer you can afford.

You can't have something called the credit system which rules of playing is more complicated than World of Warcraft. Where your race and your sex determines your credit score.

People are perfectly capable of correcting these things, people aren't idiots, they just choose to turn a blind eye to things therefore willfully taking the idiot crown.

The Tree for those that believe in it is knowledge which is available to the very few. Christianity created a God which would keep you enslaved because frankly, many people are weak and dimwitted enough to where they need something big and ugly and threatening them with enternal hell to keep them in line.

There is enlightenment for those that willfully seek it, but one must go through the fire to attain it, and unfortunately, there is no comfort in what you find there.

But still, human beings have a wonderful mechanism called hope, something I find I just can't shake.

My complaint is simple, Don't tell me what to do through enactment of law.
Don't tax me to the point that I can't help some one truly in need. I don't need a government enforcing charity through taxation. True charity comes only from the heart.

I don't need any one telling me how to live my life, about guns, about smoking, about drinking , about over eating, about drug education for my children, about calorie counts at a restaurant, about abortion, about being forced to carry health care coverage, about drinking soda with sugar in it, this list could become the song that never ends.

The thing that scares the heck out of me is how quickly you are all willing to turn your free will,,, over to some one else. It's All About Control. The ultimate human greed.
