I have a copy of that old silent film "Nosferatu." This band's music is the sound track.

They're rather gothy, imho, but I like 'em, for some odd-ball reason.

What do you think?

I'm confused.
My granny played piano at the theater before the " talkies" as she called them. Put her out of work.
"Silent" films have no sound track. That's why they called them silent.

On the other hand. Never really cared for or listened to TYPE O NEGATIVE.

I'm interested in where you got your copy of "Nosferatu." with a modern music sound track added.

Sounds cool.

Actually I did not listen to SUMMER BREEZE .
But I will now.

ICK ... nope. :?

CINNAMON GIRL wasn't too bad.

Some songs just should not sound dark IMO

Actually, sans, that's kinda what I like about them - the incongruity of it all. It's almost comical, & yet, still musically sound - kinda like Hayseed Dixie doing AC/DC covers in a bluegrass style. I like it because it's unusual, & yet, for the most part, played well.

I've heard these songs to death. This is a refreshing take on them.

That was pretty cool Phil. I think my favorite of the bunch is Santana. Summer Breeze... I think it's a nice try, but his voals just sounded to weird doing it. I do like those kind of twists in doing covers though. I used to do Korn's Daddy acoustically when I was doing the open mic night circuit.

In case you never heard that song:

Now imagine an acoustic version. :?

Really cool Phil , nothing like covering a song and changing it so it is your OWN.

I have a tremendous respect for that.

These guys like to dwell on the dark side of things, during the 60/70s there was another band doing the same thing IE take pop songs and make'em dark, anybody remembers Vanilla Fudge? These guys remind me of them.

Kudos to them of innovation but I don't know if it's an improvement.

It seems a bit of a shame that the lead singer died just last year, though.

They were, at the very least, an interesting novelty act.
