Older folks are walking around in 50 degree houses. Food prices are sky rocketing, POOR PEOPLE ARE STARVING. IN our great country. Hard working people are starving.

I read all the posts that you put up and all I see is that your lives are being stolen away. Your music is being taken away. All on the hope that the government control placed on you will solve all your problems.

News flash, True Grit only comes from within from Gods love. I don't care the God you choose. Not my business.

The current administration WANTS $5.00 a gallon gas so he can push his agenda and he IS going to get it (THIS SUMMER) I personally hope HIS DUMBASS GETS it! Do you folks remember the gas lines of 1979 I sure as heck do! Remember the odd and even days. I hope you have enough cash to fill up on your day!

Good to see at least two people in our country have some balls left. Speak Chinese anyone? Leave your front door open for any terrorists lately? Confiscate all the money from the top 10%.

It still wouldn't add up to all the opportunity our government has stolen away from everyday people, the ones with hopes and dreams and talent that used to make our country so great.

The battle cry is tax the rich, It should be get off the backs of everyday folk so we can succeed and prosper and play music also.

If you confiscated all the money and property of the top ten% in our country,,,TOOK IT ALL AWAY, STOLE,,, it would be a pin drop compared to what is taken away from the hard working average person. Most of it in hidden taxes and fees and govt regs that are supposed to "protect you".

Our EPA is now forcing you into 4,5,6,7$ dollar a gallon gasoline. We sit on natural gas reserves that can power us another 100 years. Our oil reserves are 3 times or greater that of Saudi Arabia. We have coal reserves that belittle China. And when was the last time we the people were allowed to build a nuclear plant.

At 750 a panel,(solar) and extreme government regs with wind power, that at best right now could supply about 5%,,,, I get the feeling our government wants us to shut up ,sit down, and get used to living in a cave. Better turn off those amps. I am not anti green, I am a huge proponent. But why are we sitting on 800 BILLION Barrels of oil when Americans need not be subjugated to the will of overseas tyrants and dictators, and even worse, our own homegrown brand of terrorists, MEN IN POWER THAT ONLY SEEK CONTROL.

Let's see if any one else has the balls to step up to the plate and not just spew rhetoric, Or skew the facts, Or go off on a tangent that is nothing more than deflection. Funny thing is I just want to make sure every one gets a shot at making music from the heart. I don't want our government to make us all play the same song.

I have known this since I was a child. I work hard every day to prepare for Christ who I know will come get me soon. But don't think I take my freedom lightly. I too will defend my freedom till I die without prejudice or fear . But my prayers ask for all to be taken care of in these difficult times that are sure to get much worse .

We will have ti wait till Satan is silenced I'm sure.

Don't get me started. The problem is an over-weighted bureaucracy and hopelessly cumbersome red tape attached to EVERY piece of legislation. We need to completely strip away the legalese of EVERY friggin rule and regulation and get back to simple, straightforward government. In EVERY phase of our lives there's TOO MUCH complication. We desperately need tort reform, we need a simplified tax code, ONE formula for gas that works for EVERYBODY, have ALL forms of energy available for EVERYBODY, AMERICAN energy. A better National Health Insurance would be the SIMPLE creation of a U.S HEalth Service, just like the U.S> Postal Service. I'm talking about a separate U.S. Health plan that citizens can FREELY choose and pay premiums for OR stay in the private sector, and this U.S> Health Service does NOT require raising taxes and is AN ELECTIVE of private citizens and business people. We need to IMMEDIATELY seal the border, and we need to make available to the public a list of all the companies who have moved their operations overseas so we can BOYCOTT their products. We also need to start charging foreign countries (like China) an estimated fee for their up to now FREE USE OF OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY and deduct that fee from our debt to them. We need to have import quotas of foreign autos in the EXACT SAME PROPORTION as those foreign countries restrict our USA made autos. I WANT A CLEAR LIST OF WHERE EVERY RED CENT OF THE STIMULUS MONIES HAVE BEEN SPENT. Sometimes I feel like running for office but then I would probably get so disgusted with every scoundrel in government I would quit and go fishing instead...

I just don't wanna live through the era of the global corporation...I kinda liked the era of man, while it lasted, before man flooked it all up...

First we are NOT a DEMOCRACY. Democracies have never worked, they only lead to mob rule. We are a REPUBLIC. Go look it up.

However your concerns are very real and I have said it over and over. You must never have lobbies that are so large they corrupt the process of a REPUBLIC. Not from Corps, Not from Unions, Not from ANY special interest group that can spend enough money to change the process.

Your point is well taken , but Phil , my agenda is not just to attack corps that pay most of the taxes in this country.[maybe not as direct as the socialist left would like but through all the employee taxes that it seems everyone has forgotten about.] It is to make sure that we don't become a democracy were any MOB can take control .

Actually Phil, I can understand where you come off with this. This is just socialism under a another name, Or it is the socialism that an economy can afford. Funny when you put it that way it is just another corruption in the path of man taking the easy route versus the truly free man that counts on no one but family ,friends ,and local community. I would like to see the US break into maybe four countries. It's the only way I can see to keep the freaks in DC from bossing me around and buggering everything up.

And since I do not want to boss others around I prefer to have my own area where I can do what I please with out getting a certificate of approval from the half wits in govt.

I do not expect to die in bed, sadly...what's coming is going to come down hard. Those of us who work hard have been too busy to notice what those freaks have been up to and we let it go to far. Now is time to pay the fiddler.

Mankind is a flawed critter - whenever we form organizations the collective IQ of the group is equal to the dumbest member - the larger it gets, the dumber it gets. And the kind of people who want to be bosses are almost always the wrong ones - petty martinets or worse, do gooders. <sigh>

No solution - just have to deal with the chaos once in a while. This time we waited too long, that's all.

I don't obsess over it though. Just wrote a pretty decent tune, jammed with a guy last week and some more in a few weeks - keep plodding along and putting my thing together until the ball of wax comes undone.
