Here's whats happening in Wisconsin.
The cows have been fired for not making enough milk. This has led to a shortage of cheese. The rats are not happy , the old ladies have retired, the Packers are moving to NY. and the governor has male pattern baldness.

Other than that, I can see no reason NOT to move to CURACAO.

A totally "free market simply opens us all up to price gouging for all of life's needs.

The facts don't lie, just every politician that has come down the road in the last 50 years. Elect me so I have a paycheck.

This is just one example.

Why are we all being forced to pay high energy costs. We have 3 times the reserve in shale oil that can be tapped out at 30 dollars a barrel. We have enough natural gas to power us into the next millennium. We have enough coal to make China jealous. We were the leaders in nuclear technology, but our government has regulated it to death.

OK lets go GREEN , mercury filled light bulbs, solar panels that are very expensive, and wind mills that government regulations disallow anyone in my area from putting up.

I think we have to start to stop all this government regulation. It is more out of control than was ever intended.The end result of government interference is NOT going to be a $5 dollar electric bill or 50 cent a gallon heating oil.

Government regulation is important, but when it interferes with free markets to the point that the added cost just gets passed on to the consumer, then it is nothing more than a TAX.

Glen - you just gave me 3 examples of where the gov't has regulated the CONSUMER, NOT the corp's who need regulating.

You know what I'm talking about - price gouging, trusts, monopolies, liability for harmful products...

Thanks Phil. I agree. BUT... I don't think Monsanto deliberately set out to cause so much harm. I think more government regulation will only cost the tax payer. This is a poor example because smart farmers will never be duped again.

How do you fix it? I don't know. Was it the farmers looking for super duper crop yields and profit that allowed this to happen? Was it Monsanto for putting out an inferior product. I don't know.

Your argument immediately places the responsibility on big government to protect us from every little scratch that comes along.

My argument immediately places the responsibility on the individual to protect not only only the freedoms of their decisions, but their own responsibility to all mankind. This underlying principle is more important than any form of government.

Looking at all the chaos in the middle east and all the historical evidence mankind has lived through, unless we all develop an acceptance of tremendous personal responsibility ,we will never be be free, till death do we part.
