We finished mixing three of the new tunes this week: "Slummin'", "Huffin' Gas" and "Another Night". Have a listen!

Thanks guys. The volumes are a little low because Pete likes to have lots of headroom when he masters, so for now you need to crank it a bit. Hopefully I'll get the other two songs mixed and the whole thing mastered in a week or so.

Are the vocals on "Huffin' Gas" a little low? I'm thinking they need to adjusted but mastering may fix it. Any thoughts?

As I listen to this I feel like the mastering will bring your vocals out front enough to suit my taste.

But then it's not my song.

Thanks again guys. We had a great show last night, the place was packed and the new songs went over well. I'm back in the studio Monday to finish mixing the last two songs. No rest for the wicked!

I'd let him master and listen close before I screwed with any of the levels Jim.

You have infinitely more studio experience than I ... but my ear is getting better every day.

Better get out the shovel. I sure as hell don't miss the snow, being from Ohio we always got our fill.
Suppose to be 76 today here in Charlotte. But we need precipitation, rivers and streams are getting low. We get water bans here. No washing the car watering the lawn. Next they'll put limits on how many flushes per day.

I liked huffin gas, sounds like my old drum player.
