Hello out there, could someone tell me how to get rid of the hissing sound that come through your speakers? it happens on all of my speakers in the house. Also, we are in search for a drummer for our start up band,,,no luck yet on this site.

how do you know a hissing sound came thru my speakers?
hah...sorry couldn't resist..

I would think you need to post a lot more info on your exact setup...
What gear is driving these speakers...type of speakers/brand & amplifier type...
where wires/gear are located in proximity to other equipment blah blah..

Thy way it was explained to me is it is called, "transistor hiss".

The fix involves replacing transistors, namely if one is bad they all could be bad.

If you use a TUBE amp, you will not get transistor hiss.

It is the molecules moving around in the transistor that makes the hiss.

You could spend a lot of money on this and get less than satisfactory results.
If you can, you might want to sell it, and put the money towards a better amp . . .
