Too late! Paul has the cutest little girls. Best wishes my friend.
Thanks Jimmy!
I'm home on the couch with my family. The nausea after the surgery was brutal. IV pain meds and I don't mix. I'm fine though. Thanks for the support!
You have mine
"If you can't stand behind our troops, stand in front of them." "The West was not won with a registered gun."
"No law ever prevented a crime."

I didn't know you were getting fixed the next day too!
As for the meds, just get a pill cutter to take away some of the potency. I know those things tend to make some people nauseated. Well, at least you're getting everything over with back to back.
Prayers with ya bro! Keep us posted on your progress.

The lortab in pill form doesn't bother me. It's IV pain meds that wreck me. They gave me morphine when I got my thumb in a cooling fan a few years ago. I hurled then too.
I'm feeling fine now. It only hurts when I move. actually getting them done back to back was the DR's idea. get it over with!

I couldn't take morphine either. They had to take me off of it before, and give me pills every four hours. On my last ankle surgery I had what they call Dilaudid, which wasn't as bad.
Good to hear that today's ordeal is over. Fortunately, you have family to look after you after all is said and done. My advice is, have somebody move the microwave in the living room with a cooler so you can get what you need if nobody's around within shouting distance.
Lol! My 4 year old was typing for me so I could search youtube!!!

Damn, I loved morphine. Every time I asked for an aspirin in the hospital they shot me up with more morphine.
