Guns are like Swiss Knives, if you have a tree with dead branches a 12 gauge works wounders. So guns are like tools

I don’t know people, I never owned a firearm but if I were to get me one chances are I’d be using it most likely on some lunatic and not against any government agencies.
Does anyone really think possible to overthrow a government with a six shooter against an annual defense budget of $700 billions?

I would not be without one.
Not just for protection, though that is part of the deal.
I just love guns. I'm serious man. Like some of us just love the guitar for is functional beauty, I love firearms ( and bladed weapons ).
I have rifles and pistols in designs that span a century or more.
Flintlock PENNSYLVANIA long rife almost as tall as I in .45 cal. The snipers rife from the American Revolution era .
Percussion rifles and revolvers representing the FUR TRADE era and the Civil War to the Westward Expansion era.
Beautiful what are now classic and collectible examples of S&W revolvers.
I love to shoot too.
I can custom load ammunition for my firearms for excellent accuracy. Repair them, even do a little hand tuning of my pistols mechanisms
It's my right and my heritage.
And no one will tell me I won't because I "might do something bad".
Or because I will resist tyranny with my voice, my vote, and any other means that may become necessary for the future of my children and theirs.
So help me God.

Well, I did exactly that in Half-Life 2... Oh, wait, I had a crowbar too.
But seriously, you all are better off than me, I can't hit the broad side of a barn...
At least with a gun. I'm pretty damn good with a bow.

ABSOLUTELY
And not "OVERTHROW" but return it to it's constitutional path.
It was never perfect ... but there is nothing better short of the return of Christ and the reign of HIS kingdom.

Returning it to it's "constitutional path" is going to be bloody and messy. Call a spade a spade, it is overthrowing one government and supplanting another.
While you're waiting for Godot...I mean, Christ...sh*t in one hand and pray in the other to see which one fills up first.

I don’t know it seems to me returning to our constitutional path should not require force, we’ve taught the world that ideologies struggles should be done through ballots no bullets, even if one segment of the population succeeds in imposing their interpretation of the constitution by force there’ll be a sizeable remaining population rebelling against it thus opening up an unending cycle of armed power struggle and that cannot be a good think for any country.
Brings to mind the quote “A house divided cannot stand”
