Tried a new drummer tonight and the power trio. Really surprised me, the kid is GOOD, real GOOD, and so is the old man (me). I think we're going to shock some people...

Sounds like you're onto something. The two biggest issues for the power trio are vocals and keeping the rhythm going through the lead.

I got a call from an old semi-dependable drummer who always wants to work with me...& a FB message from another guy I've worked with before. It seems they wanna start up a 3-piece, which is a personal fave, cuz it's more challenging on the bass, & as a singer.

My chops have GOT to be sloppy as sh*t, cuz I ain't played in a long time, to be honest, but wtf...I might just do it, just to come out of this semi-retirement.
