Thanks George! This One was rally fast and fun!

Lalong, I appreciate you listening again. I'm glad the headphones gave a different perspective. I really appreciate you stepping up with your initial feedback. I crave perfection and appreciate everybody's feedback!

Thanks Neaderpaul, it’s still there a little in the one system , but I think it may just be that it’s on it’s way out and I hadn't noticed. Originally I thought because the other tunes were clear that it eliminated that as a possiblity, but of course all the songs aren't the same on your profile and it seems to happen only on the high end of chicken wing. Sorry for any trouble man.

In the headphones it rocks the separation is so well defined. I don’t usually use them, so I was glad I checked it out in either case. I hear the keys perfectly now and it's a great addition. :)

Sounds really good, but the vox is real 'on top'. Kinda like a sticker placed on a picture.
Did you mix with headphones on?

Sounds great, but I just think it could be tweaked even more.

Then I taught the piano part to my nephew and played it with the spread. I'm on drums.

This is my fav looping vid/song from you:

You should rip just the audio and give to some alt rock/modern rock stations. (Local show night or something)

Yes I did. Amazingly good call.

The lead and harmony vox are both doubled and at full pan left and right. Do you think that pulling them in to 70/30 would reduce the sticker effect?

Jimmy, thoughts?

Thanks Zip!

Awesome! Thanks! I would like it a lot more if it didn't have a key board beat. I evolved past ever using any guide or electronic beats. I'm happy with the performance and the video but the keyboard beat is like a big scab on an otherwise pretty face. You know it comes from being my own worst critic. a good thing imo.

You listening to them back to back I feel the full separation is more delicious. I feel your thoughts on the sticker on the painting. But I like it 100% panned better.

Yeah, go with the full pan.
Unless you wanna try right up the middle with the main line and pan the harmonies.

Maybe it's just a matter of bringing the vox level down a bit.

I'm a little confudled...

Anyways, yeah, go with full pan if it's between the two postings

The lead vocal is doubled too. So dead center on a doubled vocal kind of pulls the rug out from under the effect.

Jimmy, do you think the vocals need to come down in the mix?

WOW! I know I'm late to the party .... but.... Holy Sh¡t, that's beautiful! I remember learning that tune waaaay back when I was a wee tot and all I had was an old strat and just a fender head with no effects, just clean. It was a blast learning that tune but just couldn't appreciate it playing it so "dry".
