General Music Chat

Hey the names josh...i moved back to texas in hopes to find some musicians to get a band started...but everyone is into emo/punk/metal i don't really mind the metal but i wasn't wanting to get into a band and just have some dude scream his guts out for 3 1/2 mins.....i was hoping to get something really cool like you know stuff that happened with blind melon and alice in chains...where the lead singer uses the vocals alot and fills in the blank spots with it.....i dunno....when i listen to music i get obsessed with the voice and there is a specific voice i want for my band....but noone likes that kinda music anymore.....there are no bands around here like that....none.....i went to a local show and all it was was emo......ahhhh im about to go really freaking pyschotic if i can't get anything started soon........oh yeah...im a guitarist.....yay....bai bai.
