Every society throughout mankind's history has felt the need to abort. Native Americans used various herbs, as did indigenous ppl everywhere. It wasn't until the judeo/christian/moslem model came about, & gained control, that it even became an issue. Once it became an issue, the medical community took it over, & made it a most dangerous affair, especially since it had to be kept so secret, that ppl would be willing to let others die rather than admit that they were 'helping' some woman abort.

Personal choice is a much better way to go, than to have any religion control personal choices. Fewer ppl will die, or be killed, protecting those who would become criminals in order to help others, over a purely religious debate.

Decrying the murder of innocence is not just religious in origin.

It is just wrong ... irrelevant of how many "civilizations" practice it.

MMILLIONS of fetuses that have been aborted would have survived outside the womb with NO medical assistance. The raging debate is NEVER going to be solved. Either you believe abortion is murder or you don't. I believe it is. It's not a question of religion or morality with me. It is a question of science. If you leave the "developing cells" alone, there is a high likelihood that the "developing cells" will result in a human being. Destroy the "developing cells" and the resulting human is terminated. I believe that abortion shold be legal, people are going to abort whether legal or not. Abortion should NOT be an alternative to contraception. People who go to abort should be REQUIRED to think about it for a certain time period, perhaps a week and should be REQUIRED to check into alternatives, such as adoption with a loving family. The vast majority of mothers who abort suffer many psychological problems, sometimes the guilt can overwhelm them. There have been well over 50 MILLION abortions in this country since Roe V. Wade. There were roughly 50 MILLION deaths during all of World War II. Every single one of you who are reading this post at one time were "developing cells." Lucky for you (or maybe not) that your mother decided to go ahead and have you delivered. Ironically there has been roughly 50 MILLION immigrants coming to America since Roe v. Wade. Makes you wonder if immigrants are replacing those "developing cells" we flushed down the sewer...
