She recorded popular male R&B songs that included verses from herself, turning them into duets. The Mixtape was released to promote, Dondria's single You're The One which dropped a few weeks later.

Her full-length debut album, titled Dondria Vs. Phatfffat, was released on August 17, 2010. It debuted at #43, with first week sales of 9,422, which is notable since she was discovered off YouTube. Here's an idea: pay $10 and get a membership, then do your own search and contact who you want. Slumming on the forum does not project a good image for your artist.

Hi there,

From a PR standpoint this actually does portray a great image for National recording artist Dondria. She is in search of a band and wants to extend the audition invitation to everyone. Paid and non paid members of this site. So therefore, we want to ensure that everyone from Los Angeles to New York have the opportunity to audition for this awesome opportunity., and not just the people that Dondria personally seeks to audition.

Thank You.

You should also put tap dancing on your resume.

The chances of anyone on our modest forum being interested in you and you in them are vanishingly small. Take my advice or don't.

How cool of her to seek out unknown artists to assist her in her tour... and rake in shitwads of cash from entry fees for those that swing her ball n chain!

We already get a dozen daily doses o that from revenuenation... I mean Reverbnation.

No Thanks

You are very right, The Bandmix forum never used to be as bad as this.

You are very right again. Most of the pro's/semi pro's don't want to chate with the riff raff or the village idiot's and I am sure you will do very well.

Thankyou for posting and giving musicians another great and wounderful opportunity.

Charging people $30-$50 to audition is just wrong.
It doesn't cost anything to listen to someone play their
instrument and judge their talent level. This is pretty
obvious.

Who is Dondria ??

And why are musicians being charged to audition ??

I'm so confused.
I was under the impression that professional musicians got paid to play ??

Interesting ... and so close to home too.

Dondria is not charging people to play their instrument. The fee is an entry fee to the auditions. It does cost to host events on the scale of this event. There is no fee to play.

And once the musicians are selected the money they paid for the entry fee will be rewarded tremendously when they are on tour with National Recording Atrist Dondria. These musicians will get the opportunity to travel and see the world on this tour.

For more information on Dondria, I have provided links in my immediate press release to youtube or you can simply google her.

Thanks

Tell Dondria I sorry to hear she's def. i had a cousin who was def. I once went to this industry audition thingy with lots of nice folk. They made me pay to play my little cassette tape. Then for your money you got someone with some odd credentials to piss all over it for you. It was interesting. But I already knew my tape was crap. The winner's song was nicely recorded, polished and well played. It was also crap. I think if I were to do it again I'd show up naked. I probably would not change the outcome but I bet they'd remember me.

You contradict yourself well.

There is a "entry fee" but it does not cost to play ?

How the hell does that work ?

OK ... perhaps it's all legit ... I'm not up on all the music biz ins & outs.

If your legit, I truly wish you the best.

Honestly ... I have my doubts.

I suspect sanshouheil that it works pretty well. They make off with lots of money and foolishly thought you might get something. You've got as much chance as winning the lottery.
