Freaky crazy insane two days for me. Last night after a nice restaurant meal I was walking out the door and witnessed a rear-ender right across the street. Apparently a woman was on her cell phone and BANG. I walked across and gave the woman who got hit my business card as a witness. THIS afternoon I was going into a Valvoline Oil change place and BANG, right across the street another rear-ender. This time the offending party drove away, hit and run. I found the gal who was hit in a parking lot across the street and gave the police an eye witness report. Just a few hours later I'm getting out of my office and BANG another rear-ender right across the street. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING. While the police are investigating the wreck another wreck happened right on the other side of the median, this time a three car pile-up right in front of the police and witnessed by me again. I saw ALL FOUR wrecks happen in two days. I hope it's not a bad omen of an impending terror attack or something...All four I was on foot entering or leaving buildings across the street. Has anything like this ever happened to any of you?

My wife was nearly run off the road by a Meth-crazed trucker the other day. Fortunately, she pulled over in time. Had there been someone beside her, she may have been killed. My son got stuck in traffic behind the numerous accidents that nut-job caused as he ran from the police, plowing cars off the road at speeds in axcess of 70 mph. He had a good run, though, through at least 3 states, until they caught & tazed his ass.

I was almost in two accidents, yesterday, in the same parking lot, at - you guessed it - WalMart. I actually flipped the bird at one old lady, which isn't like me at all, but she was a TOTAL idjit forcing her way around & running stop signs. Maybe she was having a stroke...pissed me off, though, she did!

'Tis the season, isn't it?

I saw an episode on Law in Order, very similar to your experiences. Hmmm

One time, while on the freeway going to work, a Corvette spun 360 degrees right in front of us at LEAST seven times (like something out of an action movie). It was miraculous no one was killed. :!:

I witnessed something similar to that on a crowded highway in New Jersey years ago. A guy spun completely out of control and hit a barrier backwards. Smashed the entire back of the car in, no other cars touched. When I drove past the guy was just sitting in the car with a shocked expression, hope he wasn't hurt

I was on the Balto-Washington Pkwy, when the car next to me started to spin. I got the heck out of his way, as he spun a few 360's, & ended up on the shoulder, facing the wrong way. I pulled over, backed up, & got out to see if he was okay. There wasn't a scratch on his car, & he was sitting there looking shocked. He rolled down his window, & I could smell the booze on him, as he told me he dropped his cigarette, & was trying to get it when he lost control. This was back in the 80's, before the MADD scares & such, &, since we were the only two cars on the road at that moment, all I could do was laugh, & tell him that "Smoking kills, man!"

I left him there...

Hey, I spun out just getting onto the freeway in the rain. I was driving a stupid toyota "terrorist" van. It was the most ddangerous piece of machinery to be in when the road was wet.

I have spent a lot of time on the road at all times of night and day.

Seen and attended to many accident victims, picked passed out drunks up out of the ditch and drove them home in their own truck, pulled stuck people out of the ditch or out of the road, and reported license plate number of three hit and run drivers, even found a dead woman hanging off a light post.

Approached by two young men whom waved me down going down a country road. Their truck was stuck way off road and had been there all night they said. I showed them my 1911 and said, I'll help but if there is any sh*t ... I'll be dealing it.

The more time you spend out on the street the more you realize it's a crap shoot out there.

I really thought I was projecting anger onto the world, seeing FOUR wrecks in two days. It got to the point I was almost afraid to go in or out of a building. I actually closed my eyes walking out of a supermarket Thursday evening. I have to think what Jesus did as he walked the Earth and try and project those peaceful thoughts. Maybe less accidents will happen...

You know Fisher, it couldn't hurt to project peaceful thoughts. 8)
