I was listening to Oscar the Grouch sing I Love Trash on YouTube, from Sesame Street's first season in 1969. Did you know that the natural color of his fur is orange? It was explained later why he turned green, because he doesn't bathe.

Ive actually been listening to Christmas Music on a local radio channel that plays it round the clock right now.

Might have to get the ole guitar out next chance I get and work up the Grinch song again. Some of you guys should try rocking out your favorite Christmas tunes, its fun and is a great practice exercise!

Don't mention Christmas tunes. I've already been jumped on because of my taste in Christmas music.

I've been listening to some old David Wilcox - the American folkie, not the Canadian blueser guy.

I saw him, years ago, at some concert at a Winchester,VA high school auditorium. The acoustics were great.

He changed his tuning on EVERY song, in about 5-10 seconds, while he talked to the audience. He has such an odd approach to the guitar. He uses up to 4 capos on his axe at any given time (many of them are cut-away, of course), & sometimes moves them mid-song!

His stuff prolly seems very sleepy to most of you, but I love his music. It's perfect for sitting by a winter fire at the end of the day.

the last thing I listened to was "handle bars" by The Flobots.

this song pretty much says it all on today's scene... and is a deep and excellent tune and video. Very telling!

If you haven't heard it... don't think you know how the song is going to go before you finish it.
