Thanks Slacker. I wonder if they think I'll get more done with a faster PC. Not likely lol.

Our recording session was a huge success, we got all four of our new original's basic tracks done. I return Thursday to do some overdubs and then Rasta will return in a week or two to put down his final vocal tracks. Too bad we can't do this for a living, what a blast it is getting new music on tape.

Looking forward to hearing it. Lady Raga was really good live. Funny guy.

Yes Mike that's the joke, Rasta Farley (Rastafarian). We called his brother Musta Farley for Mustafarian (Star Wars). The joke about Candy Farley is the Farley candy company is where we got our name.

Everyone gets a Farley name when playing in the band. Our original drummer's name was Chris so he was - you guessed it - Chris Farley. I was called Gordon Farley (not sure why) and we had a bass player we called Motivational Speaker Farley. We tried other band names including The Crack Babies and Trenchcoat Mafia but always returned to The Farleys; people can remember it and they love to yell "Farleys!" in the bar.

You sure they aren't yelling "Farties!"? Honestly, I thought the name was a misspelling of Mr. Furley, Don Knott's character on Three's Company.
