I play Rythm Guitar. Been playing since the mid 70's.
.
Looking for musicians to jam with, & form a small group.
.
Male - female - age - I don't care, as long as you can play.
.
Keyboards, Bass, Guitar, blues-harp, others welcome. Lets see what type of sounds we can make together.
.
Like to form a small band - all originals. I've got a bunch of songs - mostly Jazzy / funky / R & B and fast blues with a jazzy feel.
Other styles influencing my music: Boogie, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Folk, other . . .

.
Looking for people able to play this stuff - you probably need a minimum of ten years experience for a lot of it, but some of it is easier,
- and I'm willing to give the relatively unexperienced people a chance..
.
Think Rock / blues / jazz for a lot of my stuff
Think of the Pink Panther theme song, for some of it.
Think Beatles, for some other songs.
Think of a "poor man's Leo Kottke" for other stuff.
Think 'uncategorizable, but I like it" for the rest . . .
.
Some of my songs might turn your head.
.
If you want to 'make it' as a musician, you may have to work for it. Are you willing to practice?
.
Look - don't be scared.
I'm easy to get along with, and patient. I'm not perfect, and I don't expect you do be...
Go ahead - and - make mistakes. But - just on the NEXT practice session: make FEWER mistakes. :)
Hey, I make mistakes, too . . . .
My goals:
1) Enjoy the music
2) Practice at least once a week.
3) Get the music into the ears of as many people as possible. (It makes them smile & feel good)
4) Make a few bucks doing it.
5) See number 1.
6) Copyright it.
7) See number 1 again.
.
If you like an upbeat sound - then this is for you.
.
Playing this music should prove rewarding for most musicians.
.
Guitarists & keyboardists: do you know how to play 6ths, 7ths, and 9ths?
I can show the guitarists. . .

My songs contain many chords not found in most songs, and the overall effect is very tasty & upbeat.
.
No rap, no metal, no punk.
.

One other thing. I'll bet you I'll still be looking for musicians 6 months from now. So, even if this post gets old: I'm STILL looking! Feel free to respond.

Had a Bass player over yesterday.
I will jam with him, & might play out with him in some certain places.
.
But -
I'm still looking for a Bass player.
And a harmonica player.
And maybe another guitar player: rhythm or lead, depending on you . . .
.
And - anybody nearby want to try some percussion work w/me?
- hand-held stuff is ok . . .
If you have a drum set (and if you're fairly close) I can stop over to your place. . . . it'd be good practice . . .
.
I'm still interested in keyboard players, too. If you do "Tangerine Dream" - type stuff, or Blues, or Jazz, or Rock, there is music waiting for you, here.
I am seeing musicians one-on-one, at this stage. No pressure.
Show me the style you presently do, tell me the style you want to do, and we'll play some.
Be sure to check my profile out.
