Funny that some of these "hardened musicians" have such a thin skin.

Seems to me that the few I believe to be what they claim to be have a similar attitude to what we call "the Teflon man" as in "it all just rolls off".

Emotion is something that people embrace on the holidays, not every time some cretin pulls on the short hairs.

If I can sit through 45 minutes of a lisping singer from hell, you can definitely put up with some tweakers on your fav. forum where no one talks music, but they all have a good time ranting about nada much.

Not the case for me Scott. This site has no use for me anymore. No one pissed me off at any time at all. Although gross, what Mike posted made me laugh, so there's no issue there either. LOL!


Seriously though...hope you all find what you're looking for...because I already have. Time to keep writing more tunes for my band and keep moving on and forward. Gonna be a busy couple of months recording the full length CD.

The the thing I'm not really liking at this point is all the damned moderation that's going on. I'm seeing threads disappear now. Either that, or somebody is a goodie two shoes.

I don't see a point in leaving if I find a band or get offended. That's kind of like saying: Yeah, I don't need to be your friend anymore guys, maybe I'll just read posts from time to time to get information. It doesen't make sense to me...making an official leave of absence. 5 dollars worth.

I also think there is a real need for some self-control & self-censorship among some in our fold, & that's all I'll say about that.

Yeah, self-censorship, not BM censorship. Everything went just fine, and now the sheriff's in town.

I actually think it's better if people don't agree all the time here, it kind of reminds you of the real world.

Regardless of what went down, I think everybody should have stayed without feeling that they needed to walk on eggshells.

I've never seen anybody here that was so terrible that they deserved to go.

Now people are leaving...great. Everything has been slow enough already.

I love a good debate, the problem is when it turns into an argument. If I’m out to flame someone, I’ll write it and save it for two days before I post. At that point, I’m quite certain it’s exactly what I meant to say. Sometimes within that span of time, something evolves within the thread which makes the anger, or the issue obsolete.

This is bs...DB, I've never been 100% on what you do, but I've still respected your experience level. This post is what a certain guy called Irminsul would have called a plea for attention. (If ya don't know Irminsul, search back through the posts a bit). I hate to see ya go, but if ya gotta, ya gotta. If your skin is that thin, maybe you should stay off the internet. Trust me, it's not always gonna go your way. I would think that, if you were to choose a website to demonstrate your abilities, it would be one that you had more control over...like your own personal website.
I'm sick of this crap. If ya don't like whats being posted, don't respond. Eventually, it will go away. If it doesn't, DON't READ IT. But for goodness sake, ACT like you have a pair and DOn't post a new thread about how you are offended and it is time for you to leave...You really think that you matter that much?
