I saw a picture of him on the documentary called "before the music dies"
Basically, hes a black man and he is sitting down, the camera is focused on his hands, you can see his face in the background but its blurry, he is wearing sunglasses. The pic is in black and white. I thought it was ray charles, but i cant find it anywhere!
any help would be awesome.
if it comes down to it i can upload the pic

I think it's Nat King Cole's brother, Bat.

It's definitely NOT Muddy or T-Bone. My best guess is Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup. He wrote the first big Elvis hit "That's Alright Mama" and I believe maybe a few other Elvis hits. His face is very blurry in this picture, but his hands are a giveaway. I've watched a few Crudup Youtube videos. There's not too many people with hands like that. In the context of the documentary it makes more sense that this is a picture of Crudup.

Interesting, when I first saw the picture I thought it was Nat.
