OK Mr. Maxim can also get on the soap box?

First I’d like to point out as you and others already know that Holidays tend to highlight personal situations IE. If a personal situation is bad gets worse during this period if the situation is good it gets better so hang in there for few more weeks after you’ll have a chance to a new start.

I don’t know if you ever asked yourself why at your age find yourself wanting of whatever you’re lacking and why you have been unable to give yourself those things that would have giving you a more meaningful life?

I’m going on the limb here by guessing, reading into your post is apparent to me (I might be wrong) you need financial stability and a caring family support things that have eluded you thus far. Why?

I found the answer in some of the posters who replied to you, although well intended and sincere IMO misguided everybody is encouraging you not to give up due to your musical capabilities overlooking the obvious IE. Thus far (sorry to be blunt) these abilities have produces nothing to better your life actually for many dreams of makeing it if held too long are counterproductive.

What I’d advice if I’m allowed to do so is to change priorities don’t give up music but concentrate first on create an environment where a stable family nucleus can be sustained for that a steady income is required a job however unpleasant would provide that, sad to say but a steady job is much easier to achieve than making a living with music.

I won’t bore you with my personal anecdotes but since musician’s script is predictable I think the solutions are predictable and similar as well, over 25 years ago I opted to be somebody in the work force rather than nobody in the music business, it wasn’t a pleasant or an easy decision but at the time a gamble on music was the least attractive option.

It worked for me; hope you find the best solution to your predicament, to that end I wish you strenght.

Don't make me come over there and smack you around.

I had thanksgiving dinner with one of my brother in laws whom the day before was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer.

He wasn't whining.

Craig - You're welcome. Glad to help.

For what it's worth, I knew what you meant. Don't ask me how, I just did...been there, done that. So I thought I'd put giving up into perspective. Believe me when I found out about my tendon problem, guitar wasn't all I wanted to give up...

I'll throw a prayer your way and I gotta tell ya most of my prayers are usually answered,so take hope dear friend help is on the way.
