I agree in making it their own and all that jizz, but I seriously thought that sucked . But then again llive at Philmore will live forever.

It's okay to do any song any way you want to. This particular version starts out with unitelligible singing. If you sing a song, any style or genre, and the lyrics are unintelligible, then it's noise. I can't stand ANY tune where the lyrics are undecipherable as this song starts out.

I think they had a great idea there. I like it overall.
It kept my attention and I would applaud them for
thinking outside the box.

Now the recording is another story. No definition
between rhythm section and lead guitar. The vocals
were not in front and were way tooo raw.

I'm all for taking stuff and puttin' your "mark" on it, but I have to say in this case only one thing disturbed me.

I can deal with mashing the music itself, but this particular song, to me, is ALL about the vocals.

And the vocals just aren't cuttin' it for me. The song is all about emotion and the singer just isn't expressing any at all IMHO.

I do like what the band did with it though. Could have done with a bit less enveloping, but overall pretty good. Very Happy
