Depends on if I've got a drummer that can do anything but 4/4 handy...

Favorite time signature? None. Abandoning time and making a wall of noise is fun!

I'm sure there are some bands that are very good and can pull off some of those weird time sigs...

But it seems from my experience that most of the guys that spout off saying they do all this weird time stuff are doing it to hide other deficiencies. And truthfully most bands cannot pull it off with any accuracy and it usually shows in their performance.

But if they can...more power to them. Though I have found a lot of Latin or African players that can absolutely pull it off as it's in their culture and they've learned it from birth.....

Pink Floyd, for one.

What was "Money" in? Like, 6/14 or something bizarre like that?

Yep, money was 7/4, and Roger Waters actually played the bass line. unusual, because Gilmour usually had to play them, Waters couldn't get his parts down in time.

I like 5/4, used it in high school jazz band playing "Take 5". Hard to find musicians that can really hang with oddball time signatures though. Rush does a great job, Jethro Tull has used a couple of odd ones, and Clapton added a 2/4 measure to "Rollin and Tumblin". I can't find many people who can get a grip on just that added 2/4 measure...two stinkin beats people, get a grip...

6/8 is fun sometimes too, you'll hear it on every ZZ Top album, they always do something in 6/8 time. (Hot, Blue & Righteous, Sure Got Cold When the Rain Fell, etc)
