If you have all the information you need to make a fully informed decision it's not being judgmental IMO. Your just acting on your information as it applies to your goals.

If you jump up and run because the guitar player is having a wheat beer and a cigar when you show up, or because he plays with a S&W 19 on his hip .... well that is another issue.

I just hate disorganization and drinking almost always leads to disorganization. I'm too old to be in a drinking garage band. I have a plan to do something with my music, but I can't do it alone, or can I? Been thinking seriously about laying down a solid bass, drum, and vocal track CD and shipping it to New Jersey where I've got a very serious guitar playing friend. He's even talked about taking a trip here to K.C. to record with me. Hmmm, maybe that's the plan...
