Yeah and the black panthers had two, chasing voters away at the front of a polling place. Intimidating whitey. "Kill them crackers and their babies" They were never prosecuted because they were protected under this administrations racist views.

The most powerful weapon against an "EVIL" corporation is boycott. The least is government control. In the end it only takes away your vote, your personal choice, your personal responsibility.

YEAH lets just get rid of all corporations and small business. Lets make it illegal to get paid for playing in a bar. From now on we should have a government that will take care of every one, and this will be done equally.
NO MORE WORK, NO MORE BILLS, NO MORE CORPORATIONS.

God,,, this is gonna be great. All these stupid people,,, I can't wait to be KING!

How about this.
When I was five, we didn't have much. We pretty much grew up on what was cheap.
Even at five I was fired up to make a nickel. In the summer I used to set up all sorts of stupid games and invite all the neighborhood kids over. We had so much fun , making up penny tickets, 50 for a penny,,, I always made ten cents that went into the bank[piggy].
Summers, our neighbor always grew more tomatoes in his garden than he ever used,[he just loved to grow them]. I paid him a penny a tomato and charged all my neighbor customers 2 pennies. WOW , what a profit, and many happy neighbors.
Next was my candy store. I actually saved enough so that by the time I was 9, I could afford to buy a few boxes of candy. WHALAA, I had every kid in the area buying candy out of my moms kitchen because it was cheaper and more convenient. I was making almost 2 bucks a week. HOLEY MOLEY.

That gave me enough money to buy my first real bicycle. One that wasn't falling apart every time you peddled down the street.AAAHH! This opened new worlds also.A paper route. I delivered papers for the now defunct L.I PRESS. When I was 10 , 11 ,12, I brought in any where from 10 to 12 dollars a week. That gave me enough money to buy my OWN LAWN MOWER. I think it cost me 35 bucks, but it allowed me to start my own lawn service, with my own equipment 40 years ago.

I type slow so rather than being logged out I will continue this in another window.

Ok. from there I was able to take SCUBA lessons and buy all the equipment I needed to start a small salvage diving operation with my buddy. We built a small crane barge, and towed it all over the place with a tiny aluminum boat.
We dropped moorings and pulled them, scrubbed boat bottoms. The best was finding a "RING OVER BOARD", some lady dropped her diamond ring and we found it under the most ridiculous conditions I could explain.
Ok that was me as a kid, 15 years old. Pure capitalist.
Fast forward you get married, you have a couple of kids, you have a decent job and the world is all good.
WRONG. I was forced,Thank God,,, To go back to my early days of self reliance. I don't want or need any government program to try and TAKE CARE OF ME. I am an American, totally Independent and FREE. The only word "help" in my english is the freely given help I can give to others. I am just one of many stories. goodnight.

You ever heard of the moving company "Two Men and a Truck"? It started in detroit where a single mother of two got sick of them complaining about not having any money and said "Fix that rusted out old truck in the backyard and do something with it".

Uh huh. Well, when your co gets run out of biz by the "evil gov't," Glen, just remember who was behind the action, k? I guarantee you it'll be another co pulling the strings, Mr Blinders, & not some left-wing nutcase socialist. And as soon as you're run outta biz, they'll take over like they had had it all along.

And just think about this, too, oh self-reliant one - How well will you do when the cost of gas gets to $8 a gallon, or your electricity quadruples in price, cuzza "limited supplies?" Or when you get sick, & the cost of your meds is way out of reach, & your ins won't cover it?

You are really dependent upon all of these co's right now, Glen, just to survive in your world, let alone to be comfortable. You NEED that community of goods & services, & you certainly DON'T need to have them in the wrong hands...like Monsanto, for instance.

Once the monopolies get their clutches in us, you'll be thinking of that childhood of yours as the RICH old days. we're gonna get to the point that co's don't even need to supply us with all that much to rake in the cough, once they had the complete market in their grubby little paws.

Vote for regulation or corporate slavery. It's your choice.

No Phil. I will always vote to make sure an evil government never controls a good person like you. Corporations are easy targets, unfair laws are much more difficult contain.

I am not afraid of anything at this point in our history. Hard work , and risk taking should not be punished with outright theft.

If no one understands the government that we are all guilty of putting in place, It is all about outright theft.

Repubs, Dems, Indies,,,

Our American generosity has left the back door open to nothing less than stealing.

We really need a new generation of leaders that understand the love a grandparent like you has for Jace. I'm with you on that one. I just want to make sure he has a chance to choose and become successful. I just don't want a government that is so difficult to control, that it can only be done from the barrel of a gun.

Now lets hear from all the crazies that think stealing is a good thing.

Phil,I will never fall to corporate slavery. Even worse, I will never fall to governmental slavery.

Our government at all levels is far worse than the most evil corp you could possibly think of.

Not one corp wants to dictate the way you live your life. Not one corp has the power to pass a law.
Not one corp ignores the value of a customer.

Our government has been treating us like peasants, serfs, and slaves. Just look at the arrogance of some of these elected "leaders". I don't give a damn about them, I care more about your grandson,Jace. Good luck buddy.

And how about Michellin tires. American boys were dyeing in vietnam when viet cong troops were firing at them from rubber plantations and they were ordered to "STAND DOWN". That was a government order as evil as anything you can come up with. I will never buy michellin tires.

As far as the other companies,,, I have as little to do with them as possible.

As far as big out of control government, I see them as the #1 killers in this country. Now that they have control of health care, Let's see if they want JACE to live or if he is going to be to much of a burden on the rest of worldwide human kind.
We are not just talking about companies that are being goaded into doing everything legal and not so legal to stay in business.

We are talking about the few that don't give a damn about you or me, that seek total world domination.

It starts with the downfall of the USA.

OVER MY FLOCKING DEAD BODY IT WILL. I care about Jace also and my kids and my yet to be born grandchildren and maybe your great grand children.

We are busting semantics, evil is wrong at any level. Theft is still theft. Frankly we argue for the same thing and all your good points just bring out a fresh perspective. I will not let any one steal from our children's future. That includes evil corps and evil government. You are saying HUUUH??? Well go back and read my michellin story were both conspired to kill young American soldiers.

Thanks Phil.

You are absolutely right Hayden! If those f'ng companies like "ZIG ZAG and EZ WIDER" didn't make those damn rolling papers, those friends of yours would have never thought to grow pot on your property and cause you all that grief.

Do you have another source on that? Not knocking you or anything, but I've spotted several flagrant factual errors in other Cracked articles.

Now, if it is all true, there's only one on there that matters, the corn one. Who gives a damn who makes sunglasses?

I dunno about all the rest, but Monsanto is mentioned in Michael Pollan's, "The Botany Of Desire," which describes the impact of 4 plants - apples, tulips, marijuana & potatoes - on humankind. As I recall, Monsanto is the co that designed the hybrid potatoes that McDonalds eventually had to quit selling as french fries, sue to consumer concerns. (They also designed a cross between fireflies & tobacco plants, just to prove that they could, I suppose. It resulted in a bio-luminescent plant, believe it or not. He described the process of shooting animal DNA into plant cells until something sticks. How's that for "control?")

There are huge dangers in these & other designed hybrids in that they can escape & create havoc in our ecosystem. There are also questions about the actual food content of man-made foods, since our systems are made for those which are more natural.

Another concern is that an unscrupulous co can put addicting elements into food stuffs, resulting in the enslavement of mankind through a single food source.

Seeing how Monsanto operates, & how many articles there are on them, I wouldn't put much past them.

They are trying to corner the market on corn production, & forcibly designing corn that doesn't produce viable seed, so that, if you want this high-yield product, you MUST buy it from them, since they own the patent on this & other foods.

and how would we, well the Nazi's run bombing raids over London without that fuel additive that Standard oil was selling them?
How would Hitler have gotten those tanks had General Motors not continued building them for him?
Where would we get our super toxic fluoride to poison our water without the aluminum and phosphate corporations "selling" it to us instead of paying the enormous price of having it disposed?

I'm all for a free market social democratic society (that's what we had, we're no longer a republic) if you have accountability from the representatives, but they've eliminated all of that so now we have a fascist society; government and corporations working together to rule the citizenry.

Yadda Yadda Yadda.... so are you a corporate shill Glenn?
