I don't know about you guys but they aren't
doin it for me. They just don't have the same appeal as the other 3 guys.
The new guys are just kinda bland. What do you think?

I thought it was funny that they always put the drummer way in the back.
The guitar player had that goofy smile too.
The song was catchy too and funny.
New guys got no appeal.

It's not their fault. They didn't pick themselves
and they don't write the commercials and they don't
direct them. They do what they are told.

Unfortunately, the sad thing is that the new guys may actually be REAL musicians. The first band was made up of actors-I looked them up after the first couple of commercials. Even with that knowledge, they looked credible with the instruments (IMO). I haven't seen too much of the new band, but I could dig the old one.

The new band are musicians, there was a big contest.

Yeah the original guys never actually played or sang (the actor was dubbed in by a French Canadian).

The old guys had more personality as well as better music to work with. I wonder what the original band for those commercials looked like.

They should have lubricated the goat...would have made things really stand out.

They don't really offend me or anything. I don't understand the gripes. They're doing as well as any of us could, given the same parameters.

Sound familiar? Musical pr4esentation without personality in that presentation is BORING, cuz it ISN'T 'all about the music' in a film or live presentation. You just can't let the music speak for itself. You gotta have "IT" as well.

I don't think these guys are bad. They're just a bit stiff, & not used to the video format, yet. I hope they can get it together soon, or they'll end up in nowheresville.
