The globe hasn't the built-in protections that our country's economy has.

Trusts & monopolies can flourish in a global market, & THAT is why our corporations are so interested in the subject.

Luxottica, Menu Foods, Monsanto, these are companies that have a virtual chokehold on the market for their products. On the world stage, tht's looked at as if it were a "free economy," when, in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. They have gobbled up nearly ll the resources necessary to make their products. They have total control over the quality of their products, on a global scale. Do YOU trust them? Is THIS the future for our world? Who determines what country or store gets factory seconds in their cat food, or sweeteners, or whatever?

Well,our protections aren't exactly built-in. They were fought long and hard for, and could be lost again. Corporations have supplanted communism as the greatest threat to human liberty, and maybe even survival. We "won" the cold war. We should be able to "win" this. We sort of have to, eventually.

No one will be winning anything as long as we keep protecting the interests of the ones who are buying our freedoms at wholesale prices.

So I just looked up the parent co of the one my wife works for.

KKR - check 'em out. They own Dollar General Stores, Eastman Kodak, First Data Corp (which handles over 80% of the electronic transactions WORLDWIDE), coffee shops, cement manufacturers, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Intelligence (in Japan), corp's based in China, Legg Mason (with assets in excess of $685 BILLION), waste management firms, mgmt firms, food production, telephone & cable network equipment, steel production, investment firms, engineering, software, building materials, Sealy mattresses, Australian TV, part of Yahoo!, magazines, chemicals, music business, European broadcasting, pet food, breweries, semiconductors, Nielson ratings, farm equipment, automotive & industrial automation, electronics, hotels & spas, for-profit higher education, forklift construction, finance, health care providers, film & photography, the list goes on & on & on &...what it comes down to it this - this company has more money, more power globally, & more influence than the US gov't.

They can do pretty much whatever the hell they want, wherever the hell they want, whenever the hell they want, under any one of a vast number of names.

This company doesn't frighten you? The pure unadulterated greed of this corp, which has been in existence for less than 30 years? They can buy & sell virtually anyone they wish, whether you wish to sell or not, under our present system.

It USED to be that you could continue to grow as a company indefinitely, but in the face of the current global system, your co can be sold out from under you at these mega-corp's whim. They have the power to take huge losses while they buy out ALL of your necessary supplies to ruin your co. They can easily put you out of business, perhaps even if you are as large as Lowes, or WalMart, & no one has heard of them, in here, I'm sure.

These are the true rulers of the planet, & they scare the bejeesus outta me.

These corporations have crossed the line from Companies to Governments. They exercise their power to choke off normal market flow, and thus PREVENT a totally free market. We need a massive public outcry to force them to break into smaller companies. THIS will have a bigger effect on the economy than any amount of money Obama can ejaculate into the economy, because really, we all know where all that money is ending up.

The current administration intends to expend trillions of dollars to bail out the failed EU.

Where are they going to get the money to bail our the EU ??

That would be E ... U & I ... and our great great grandchildren.


You cannot operate an economy based on debt. Not on a global, national or personal level.

In the globalist view, the poorest American is the rich.

And they will make us all pay.

A global economy will make sense when we have a global government, and probably not until. For the human race to survive, we will need to have a set of laws that all people must obey. This is at least a hundred, if not five hundred, years away so don't get too upset, you'll be long gone.
