I do believe that THIS is the single most irritating song ever recorded. Every time I hear this, I wanna go apeshit. If ever I were to fight in the UFC, I'd want this to be my theme song, cuz it would surely get me fired up, & make my opponents wonder a LOT!

Many songs have been irritating to me. But apparently they haven't been irritating to the multitudes of people who bought the song. My most hated famous tunes are Wonderful Tonight-Eric Clapton, Achy Breaky Heart, The Night Chicago Died, Like A Virgin, and many others. There's no accounting for taste...

Funny that you mention the UFC, Phil. A band called Stemm which is always asking us to do shows with them, does almost all of the metal theme songs for the UFC (they're from Buffalo). Another local band to here called Misery Bay also has some of their tunes in there. We're faaaaaaaaar too melodic for that though...


As far as irritating tunes go..."Whip It" by Devo is pretty horrible...

You're right, Paul. The solo is fantastic. The rest of the song, well, I paraphrase Gilby Clarke (upon joining the band to fill Izzy's spot):
