While I totally agree with you, in theory, Glen, the fact remains that some ppl ABUSE their freedoms. When ppl INFLICT their freedoms upon others, laws have to be written to protect us from them.

It's a sad fact of life.

This isn't like the seat belt laws or the anti-smoking laws, either. This father was paying for his son's funeral. It was a one-time event. No retakes. His last chance to publicly mourn, & celebrate his son's life & his contributions to the world.

These twits junked it up with their political & religious crap, & completely disrespected both father & son. It shouldn't be allowed to recur, in a just society. No one should be put through what that father was put through, for anyone's agenda.

'Nuff sed.

Unfortunately Phil, these people cause laws to be changed that were designed protect everyone. As vile and disgusting as this group is, to change the laws to fit the issue of the moment, only opens the door for the few ,deciding what is good for the many.

For you and me that means somebody else deciding if we are responsible enough citizens, that means infringement on the very basic ideals our country was founded on.

Please don't tell me to give up those ideals and receive a more progressive acceptance of someone or government telling me what is best.

God gave me that one right of choice, when Addam chose to eat from the apple. God, NO man. So it will be, I will bow down to no man!

I have come to know you as a person of great integrity and thoughtful debate. So how do we spread the word that we all have to be individually responsible, or , lose all personal freedom to a third party?

Well, in that spirit, then perhaps we should all go down to that church on any given Sunday & show our complete disregard for them, eh?

Then, of course, it just degenerates into some sort of feud...what's a man to do? Ignore it? Let it continue? Cuz as long as they're tolerated by the law & the masses, they'll just keep on doing this sh*t.

As much as it pisses us all off, the last thing I would want to see is our government telling us to STFU.

However, people do just disappear,if enough people get pissed on. Just ask Jimmy Hoffa.

Oh, call me right away if you don't get this Email. :)

Technically, you're rights stop as soon as you infringe on the rights of another.
