It is nice to have one of those incandescent bulbs to heat a lil doghouse or chicken coop, though. The others last longer, & use less energy to run, so perhaps there should be a big tax on the old style bulbs for ppl who need them....

Still not covered, and all I'm hearing about now are how things are changing for those who already HAVE insurance.

What happened to all the talk about covering those who have no insurance at all? It's like they all fell into a black hole. Again!

Geeze Sentient, If you want health coverage why don't you just start shelling out 15 hundred bucks a month like I do. Do you want to me to help pay for your insurance or do you just expect me to do it for you. Tell me where to send the check ,direct , because it would probably end up costing me a lot less than if I have to go through Washington.

Really, I don't mind. Do you need a new car or big screen TV while were at it? I'll just work harder. I'll be glad to completely support you if you want.

If you don't like what I do , I'll probably do it anyway. :)

Weren't they the people that were central to the discussion to begin with?

Well golly gee whiz! You are going to be covered under the new law. Didn't you see? You have to buy private medical insurance. To make sure you do, if you cannot, you will be penalized and they will just keep most of your tax return for the penalty money. You know what's hilarious about this whole thing? It's essentially the same plan Mitt Romney put into place in Mass. Where the Dems slammed it, but repubs loved it. Now, nationally, the dems love it, and the repubs slam it.

Don't you just love partisan politics? This law solves nothing, in either case because we still don't cover anybody but the destitute. Which we will soon all be, by the way.

Florescent bulbs emit harmful radiation... as do smoke detectors.
Our government has proven time and time again that they couldn't run a car over a hill.
Zero point magnet engines/friction water turbines/hydrogen separators are all provide "free" energy... and it's not new or unavailable, and certainly not expensive (magnet engine or water turbine $5000/hydrogen separator - build it at home cheap) technology so don't count on the Gov to do anything for OUR benefit!

Hayden!!! What have you seen about zero point magnet engines? Very curious. Be careful though because there are some serious hoaxes out there.

Einstein says it is not possible because of E=mc2. I believe it doesn't apply in this case.

I prefer thousands of greedy corrupt corporations whom struggle against each other, leaving at least a modicum of chance for competition or perhaps even one company operating on a just principal as opposed to having an omnipotent and all powerful government from which there is no chance of escape from the corruption.

No ... absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I want no part of a socialist overseer.

Not now ... not ever.

I'd prefer it if they actually DID compete, instead of working together to freeze prices, limit my freedoms, & buy my gov't.

Again we agree Phil.

My interpretation of a limited government involvement would be to ensure competition via public vote approved regulation.
Not to eliminate competition via government takeover to ensure only they make a profit.

Perhaps there should be a public office tax.

"Perhaps there should be a public office tax." Yeah! Called ACCOUNTABILITY!

Those "green" bulbs take a tremendous amount of energy resources to create.

Remember this tiny rule of science: every action has has an equal reaction.

I just want to know who shoved this flocking LIE down our throats.

If the rest of you want to go back to living in a mud hut with an out house, lit by candles, ok . God Bless and leave me out of it.

Oh probably the same ones that back in the 70's said that the entire upper half of the U.S. would be covered by ice and snow within a few decades...
And I'll bet that's the same group promoting the Global Warming Scam now!

Some like to call em by the New World Order, but it's just a banking cartel. The same group of international bankers (DeRothschilds/Warburgs/City Of London) that have been keeping the world in wars for 2 centuries now.

Yeah Hayden, I've been telling people about this and they just think I'm sucked into conspiracy theories.

Wars make money.

It's never been about the people, we're just pawns to whatever plan they have going.

Honestly, it's too difficult to run a country this size with one government. We would have been better off being like Europe where we were individual countries. Yes, they pay higher taxes and in some sense, their governments aren't perfect, but certain things are so much easier like healthcare, family leave, vacations.

That's just partially my take, too difficult and too long to go into to much detail here.

Chaeya, You're Beautiful, way more than just your voice.

Just be careful, the lies Greece, Spain , and even the UK hide, deny the fact that nothing is free.

JUST DO IT :)
