Our next show on Oct.16 will be a costume party and Rasta is dressing in drag and calling himself "Lady RaRa". I still need to come up with a costume.
Don't get me wrong, I love her music. Sorry, I love me some techno and she did bring an edge to it. Wasn't anything exciting happening until she showed up. However, does that mean the market (radio, tv & so on) needs to be oversaturated with her image, her stuff and her music. No. I miss the days when there were so many famous artists to choose from you could take a break from your fav and dig on someone else for a while. Now there's only Lady Gaga, Beaverman, Beyonce and Enimen. The same lame ass people on every award show that I don't even watch them any more.
I'm all into indie performersnow . I hardly pay attention to mainstream music anymore because it's all a bunch of clueless corporate guys running it, and I'm tired of the overuse of the Antares. And people are stupid because they'll just go with it and then bitch about the sad state of music, but then don't bother to go find any of the quality talented people available on the Internet or playing out and about. "Here feed me, waaaaah! We want to eat!!!!!

Hating an unconventional yet successful artist is an old pasttime; Boy George went through it as did Iggy Pop and many others. Lady Gaga has earned her fame, and if you don't know who she is you should probably quit the music biz.
