go and listen to how "helpful" Garageband is. See if you can count the number of times it "corrected" my timing and pitch.

Always liked that song.
Too much gain on the guitar IMO.

Thanks for posting.

I appreciate your efforts man.

Rather listen to music than argue about politics any day.

thanks guys.

Hopefully, I can convince my friend to record me sometime during fall or thanksgiving break, get some quality in there, and make it so you can actually hear the bass (I had to record it extremely quietly b/c my mic couldn't handle the tones, and had to eq out a lot of my bass frequency because my dorm room is extremely resonant).

Plus, I can use my acoustic then. Real acoustic beats ZOOM's acoustic sim any day.

till then, this is just to prove i'm not a bot.

Your working on your education.

Not a more critical time in a mans life.

Not bot-ish at all.

I have an older version of garage band. It doesnt have those new fangled options.

My redneck McGiver setup for my samples?
Tascam CD-GT1, stereo patch cable, Garage Band.

Hook the cable from the 'Out' on the Tascam, to the Powerbook Line In, for a signal.

Set the tascam to no effects, crank up the output levels.

Plug the guitar into the tascam.

Set my sound source to Line In on the laptop.

Dial up a sound in Garage Band, and use a few different drum loops. (Or get someone to make up the drums for you.)

Midi USB keyboard for playing other instrumental lines if needed.
