I agree completely Crip, its not fair. I never had much patient with multiple band players we had a couple in a band I was in and we replaced them one at a time. 8)

Whew! I just looked over this whole thread...it's like a book. :D

Cool to see someone prospering at doing something they love.

So Crip, are you able to do this full-time yet?

Oh well...back to the drawing board....again... 2 members have waaay too much on their plate and can't commit to my gigs that I book so I've had it... Gonna start all over again...fresh.. The lead vocals will stay with me if I want him to which is a good thing as he owns full PA but if I don't acquire a bassist and drummer soon, he's a goner... Got's to get myself into an established band instead of trying to put together something from scratch... Oh well... Here go agan..

It sure is.... if it's not big ego's and prima donna's, it's not one but 2 members that are in multiple projects which doesn'g make for a good equation as it also gets in the way of rehearsals... I'll find something else soon...always do! (as if you couldn't tell by this thread)

My bass player and drummer are both also in cover bands. There's not any schedule clashes however, since we rehearse on Mondays and only gig once a month. Most serious musicians are in at least two projects.

Like I said....these guys are in MULTIPLE projects which make it very hard to set up a gig... When we first started, within the first 2 months I had to cancel 3 gigs due to each one's itinerary! Does not make the band look good when you keep canceling a gig after They went through the motions of advertizing it and made online posters for their establishments! I've been in more than one band plenty of times but once I told one band "YES" that was it no matter what... not the case here... :?
