No Bob those are hobbies for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The sad thing JW is how many wonderfully talented people we have lost to stupidity.
Sure I've had my "fun". But as an adult I chose to advocate some responsibility in behavior.
How many lives, and families destroyed does it take to see it's not really cool to be socially irresponsible.

OK ... off my soap box.

Sans, if I jerked your chain you'd feel it all the way through this computer, so this time, I really was being sincere, darlin'. I will admit, I can be a bit slow at times. Have too much rolling around the gray matter all the time.

I agree with you. When I watch documentaries, I become more inspired by the intellectual components of what inspires a group and how certain songs came to be or concepts of albums.

But sometimes those stories of that one wild party is interesting because sometimes people's actions can defy logic. However, if all they can talk about is chicks, drugs and the like, it gets boring after a while, really.

Just got finished watching the documentary. Thanks JW for posting this. I had to finish off Dexter Season 4 before this finally got thru my Netflix queue. What a great documentary. I'm going to buy it for my collection. It really is better than I had imagined. Great footage old and new.

Sounds like something I'll definitely have to watch and maybe buy. Rush is one of my favorite bands.

I knew they were low-key on the road. Lots of bands actually are (Iron Maiden, Dream Theater). I think when you get into these bands that take the music seriously (usually prog bands it seems) then you have a lot less antics on the road.

I just finished reading a short interview with Mark Tremonti who was doing some press for the upcoming Alter Bridge album, and he was talking about how on the last tour, he actually had his wife and kids in the road with him as well.

I think more of that goes on than we know, but because it's not risqué it's not newsworthy so we don't hear about it as much.

The "low key"ness of Rush is really brought out to the point I was laughing at all the comments by other bands about Rush in this documentary. I'm still laughing at some of the comments. Definitely get your hands on it :)

I've seen that documentary three times. Rush are Rockstars without the attitude. Must be cause they're Canadians.

Very educational too! Everyone should see it.
