Okay Jimmy, I have to ask my stupid trivia question: How many official stooges were there? (Paul, you can't answer-you already know the answer!).

NO GOOGLING!!!

I don't consider Shemp official.

Iggy Pop, Ron (guitar) and Scott Asheton (drums) Dave Alexander (bass guitar).........sorry, wrong Stooges.

Shemp was Moe's older brother, and probably did a whole lot of stoogin'

Yeah, actually Moe, Larry and SHEMP were the originals (sort of). Shemp quit, replaced by Curly. When Curly became ill, Shemp returned...

...but there were SEVERAL others.

(Hey, I got bored one night and started looking this crap up).

for us Sniffy...uh I mean Scratchy.

I would have preferred "Sniffy", but Scratchy stuck with the River Street, Savannah crowd, and you know how hard it is to live down nicknames. I never wanted to take my Guild out there for fear of getting jacked by a crack addict, so I played a cheap Spanish guitar with steel strings, and everything sounded like I was scratching out the tune. I ain't lyin'. Go ask Wilbur, he plays there every night.
