I would have preferred "Sniffy", but Scratchy stuck with the River Street, Savannah crowd, and you know how hard it is to live down nicknames. I never wanted to take my Guild out there for fear of getting jacked by a crack addict, so I played a cheap Spanish guitar with steel strings, and everything sounded like I was scratching out the tune. I ain't lyin'. Go ask Wilbur, he plays there every night.
