Hey guys so I’ve been using last.fm to find new music and I came across Terrible Things. They have the Young Guns, New Politics, Emerald Honor, etc sort of sound going on, and I am really liking this new album they have out.

On their facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/terriblethings) they’ve got “ex-Taking Back Sunday vet Fred Mascherino, Coheed and Cambria alumnus Josh Eppard, and Hot Rod Circuit guitarist Andy Jackson forming the powerful triumvirate”.

The new album they have out is a concept album that addresses themes of fear and alienation and I definitely it is definitely worth reading about on their facebook page.
If you want, here’s their album on Amazon if you want to preview it or buy it:

Nevertheless, great band and great album.

Really? You're going to start this now?

If anything you should at least look at them on facebook. How else are you going to hear about new groups unless people talk about them?

Calm down man. These guys really do make some good music.

Just wanted to make sure you're a real boy, & not a bot, abrocks. You only seem to advertise, so you look suspicious after a bit...

Try getting involved in healthy discussions once in awhile. Critique someone's work when it's asked for. Let us know you're for real, ya know?

Gotcha. I guess I get carried away a lot when I learn about new bands and what not.

You're real, but you're a publicist. All of your posts in this forum is for us to check out other people. I get people asking me to hire them to do publicity and stating they go to forums and drum up fans. If this is what you guys do, I can do it much better by myself because at least I bother to interact with the people and I can save a couple of hundred bucks a month.

I don't see how asking musicians and bands to check em out is going to help their careers; bands and musicians for the most part don't spend time and money on other band's music, they spend it on their own!

Spend your time and money focusing on 13 yr old girls; they spend the most on music by far over all other segments of the populace... that's kinda music marketing 101 isn't it?!
