:D
Seems very familiar.
I was in a force 9 gale in the British Channel some years ago. Scary when the Bow sinks into the waves, Couldn't walk on land the wind was that strong. Some attendant said. "You should have seen it last night"

Imagine being in the band performing at the moment that happened!

There is a boat that is a bar down here in Clear Lake called the Turtle Club we were playing there one night. In this club the rich guys around the lake take there boats to the bar you can pull right up to it and dock. Its pretty cool! Anyway every now and then a BIG boat pulls up and when it does it is a very odd feeling when the stage starts moving under your feet. Me being the land lubber I am (flatlander at that) I almost fell over and off the stage! LMAO!

Anyone thats ever been to the Turtle and is an OFFICIAL TURTLE will know the answer to this question "are you a Turtle"?

I went fishing on the Atlantic once in 25 foot waves, on a 52 foot yacht. It wasn't that bad. Oh, I got seasick, but there wasn't stuff flying around the boat like this. Of course, we kept a course heading INTO the waves, so we didn't get rocked side to side like this.

I can't help but wonder, though, if this is real. I mean, those cruise ships are HUGE. I'll hafta ask my buddy, the merchant marine, if it really gets that bad.

If it's real, you'd think they'd have the piano secured, at the very least, for situations like this. It could have killed someone.

When I was at sea one time it got so bad that all non essential personnel had to be strapped down in their bunks for several days. It got so violent that we cracked the main deck of the ship from port to starboard. The swells were 50-60'. It was a flat bottomed ship so we were bounced around like a ping pong ball.
At the other end of the spectrum the sea looked like a sheet of glass without a ripple for miles. I got to see some really neat things crossing the ocean. We were at sea for 30 days at a time and went out every three months or so. You might not believe all the strange things that you will see in the middle of no where.

The answer to the question in my earlier post (if anyone cares)

the question was "are you a Turtle"? to which the answer is "You bet your sweet ass I am" (of course you are answering a female) if your a guy!
