Beautiful women, YES ! Horrible music ? Naw, who doesn't like a good Irish jig. Besides, this music inspired much of the Appalachian folk music, which inspired some more modern American music, which eventually melded into American blues and rock. Most all rock has it's roots in blues and folk music. BTW, the first lady violin player has more moves than Doug Kershaw.

It most defeinitely rocked. I heart celtic music. No matter how well she played, the courage came when she would skip around in that beautiful dress with those high heeled shoes, while carrying spikey objects in her hands. She could've killed herself

I was being sarcastic about horrible music...hence the smiley face.

But I used to play a showcase at an Irish bar that had Celtic player after Celtic Player and lets say I personally developed a "Sensitivity" to alot of Irish music.

But really I enjoy all things Irish.....90% of my gigs are in Irish bars.....
