In search of a truly great guitarist.
You are:
- adept at plugging in & playing without tuning your axe
- the loudest person in the band at all times
- playing with rusty strings
- frequently out of key, but it doesn't matter cuz the rest of the band can't be heard anyway
- the guy with 200 effects pedals, 153 of which he simply MUST use in every song
- fond of playing the 71 1/2 measure solos
- constantly forgetting the words to the songs
- choose one or more
a) a drunk
b) a guy who can't play without a tokin' tune-up
c) a heroin addict
- one of those guys who has a girlfriend who can't sing, but MUST, cuz you feel that this band needs some feminine input
- always late
- one of those ppl who thinks that practice is WAY over-rated, cuz you like to 'live in the moment'
- always looking for a couch to sleep on, or a free meal
- in need of equipment
- in need of a ride
- sick &/or hung over a lot
- always breaking strings & having to borrow them from others
- a guy with no grasp of tone
- constantly writing songs about your politics (in the reggae genre, & they all sound the same)
- always complaining about the venue, the sound, the audience, the drummer, etc...
