It should be, otherwise tha'ts a problem.

If it doesn't enforce Case Sensitive stuff then you could capitalize someones screen name and the system wont recognize the name as already taken.

Swipe the picture, Capitalize the name or change the case of the name, and start problems.
That wouldn't be good.
