I’m a bit slow, when I read ‘the bible belt” I thought you were talking about a dress accessory, after scratching my head I realized you were referring to a mentality in certain states of in the US.

With a dress like that there is no need to rehears.

I'm not a big fan of country music... but i assume there are bands out there that want to play it. Try combing the music schools in your area. Start the band yourself and look for individual players rather than trying to find a pre-baked band. It's easier to find one at a time, than it is to find a cohesive band already to go. Even better if you can provide practice space.
