Open, parachute!, from Nanaimo, BC are looking for a new guitarist. advanced amatuer to semi-pro.
We have been a band for about 2 years. our sound is very listenable, but deffinatly it's own thing. it's progressive, ambient, with elements of pop rock, hard rock and alternative. as far as background goes - we've toured, recorded 2 albums, the most recent one was produced and engineered by adam sutherland of the armchair cynics. we are in the midst of spending a lot of money on a new van and trailer, we have ALOT of money for merchandise, and alot of cds and love to spread around. our guitarist, Nano has decided to pursue a life of education, and with him gone, things could fall apart if we don't find someone quick. if you are interested, and are serious about it. please get ahold of us.

someone who is creative, passionate, serious, loyal, has good reliable gear, willing to sacrifice, willing to tour, willing to invest (time and money and blood and sweat and tears), fun, and expects nothing but love in return. Also someone who plays so well they blow our faces off. for real.
Auditions are open to everyone and while we do have temporary replacements lined up for the coming shows we would like a solidified member sooner rather than later so we can get on with things in a timely manner.
