Time is indeed a very real thing. Together space and time make the universal property spacetime. Neither space nor time existed until the Big Bang; after that, as space expanded, time did as well. If man was not here to measure it there would still be spacetime.
If a tree falls on a bear taking a sh*t in the woods, would the frog's ass still be watertight?
If it can be measured, it prolly exists, at least in this realm.
There are some who think that the afterlife is really this one...that you will ALWAYS exist right here in this time-space. I don't like that, much...it just doesn't seem fair to those who have had such rough lives, due to circumstances beyond their control. I'd like to think there's something better offered on the other side.

Every atom in your body was forged inside of a star; after your death these borrowed atoms will be returned to the universe. Our bodies are on loan, but our minds and spirits will always be free.
Here is a fascinating article I read last week on time

It's really too bad that so many musicians are impervious to time. It would help their playing immensely.

Light is visible electromagnetic energy. It is comprised of photons, which act like both particles and waves at the same time. Light is affected (can be bent or slowed down) by gravity and by traveling through matter such as gases and water.
