Profound and unbound, lost, yet not.
The epiphany of light yet dark and host-less.
One and not one, danger past beyond.
Left turns only please.

Ah, the the journey on the left-hand road!
A drummer seeks his new abode.
Adulation of the expected unknown
Whilst searching for his drummer's home.

The one with acceptance finds
Composer's dream within the lines
Of dotted notes, ideas sublime,
Of melody, story, beat, & rhyme.

The meter changes. Notes then climb
To the highest peaks the ear can find.
Complicated rhythm hones
A whole new meaning within one's bones.

Wood and metal, hair and bone
Gather, fight and strive alone
Until a theme's agreed upon.
The God of Muses rewards the fawn.
