HI there folks,

We should start a forum for this, not many folks on this site are in bluegrass or Americana, might be fun to have a spot on here for us.

No worries. If we can talk reggae, country, & screamo, we can surely talk bluegrass!

I've done it for a cpl years. It was fun in its own right.

Welcome to the forum. Don't be afraid to contribute to just about anything.

Yes.
Sounds good alright. Local venue here about caters to predominantly Bluegrass groups.

Welcome to BandMix.

Agreed! I have a lot of acoustic and acoustic based material and feel it is a somewhat ignored base.

Welcome Grass  er

I like Bluegrass. I even write some songs in that genre.

But I'm not that much for doing it with acoustic guitars. If God wanted me playing one of those, He wouldn't have given us electric guitars and amplifiers.

Can you believe that some Bluegrass guys actually look down on those of us who play electric guitars? Such guitar discrimination and snobbery is intolerable to me. :D :D
