yes its true. i have to sell this guitar to help with some home improvements. and i want to kick myself in the ass. or kill myself, but its true. i have owned this guitar since '96 and she plays like a dream. 100% original. i have the original plastic case as well as a gibson brown form fitted case with the pink plush interior. frets are in great shape. ebony neck in great shape with no ware on the front or back. the color has aged very nicely from silver (which they do over time on the original silverburst) to a very cool silverish green. the back of the body has got a couple of buckle markings on it but it does not break the finish at all. and there is a very small chip in the finish just behind the bridge on the front that has been there since i got it. other than that the binding and hardeware are in great shape and look very very cool. email me for pictures at dsailor777@yahoo.com or call at (609) 284-1957 thanks, erich[/img]
